We offer a range of services, visitor resources, and sensory initiatives to empower your organisation to go beyond the basics. Accessibility benefits everyone, so lets empower inclusion and spark change.
Who we are
Creative Accessibility is disability-led social impact business, assisting organisations to enhance their accessibility so they can provide a more inclusive and participatory visitor experience for people with disabilities. We provide co-designed accessibility consultancy, user access checks, awareness training, artist education, and resources to support visitors.

Sensory inclusion is slowly increasing, however Australian organisations are going to American organisations for training and sensory resources. Our sensory inclusion initiative aims to provide Australian organisations with the training, understanding, and resources to help support their audiences who experience sensory sensitivity, so they can feel included, welcome, and safe to participate and enjoy visiting your organisation. We aspire to create a change movement towards disability and diversity inclusion being a standard, rather than an afterthought. Accessibility benefits everyone, so let's spark change!

Our informative sessions are led by individuals with lived experiences, ensuring that your team gains valuable insights and knowledge. Topics could include general disability awareness, sensory sensitivity, inclusive language, a business case for accessibility, or inclusion in practice visitor-facing staff.
Sensory inclusion initiative Attending cultural, tourism and sporting venues can be an overstimulating and sometimes distressing experience for people who experience sensory sensitivity, as all the cumulative sensory inputs can trigger sensory overload. Our sensory inclusion initiative is a comprehensive suite of services and resources designed to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for visitors with sensory sensitivity. Specialised training provides staff with the knowledge, confidence and tools to recognise and support people with sensory challenges. Our sensory resources such as sensory kits, communication cards, social narratives and sensory maps empower visitors to prepare for their visit, navigate the venue confidently, manage sensory inputs, and communicate their needs effectively. This initiative provides a safe and welcoming environment for those who may avoid visiting, enabling them to fully enjoy and participate in experiences without the constant worry of sensory overload.
Artist accessible artwork initiative Our artist education initiative provides artists with the knowledge and understanding on how they can make their artworks more accessible. Accessibility in the arts sector is as much a responsibility for artists as for art institutions. We provide education and support in how to increase the accessibility of artworks, so that artists feel more confident in making their art more accessible for different types of disabilities. We also can assist and consult with agents and art institutions on an artist's behalf. We can also assist with captions for video artworks.
